Since the equipment of the Company consists of sensitive parts such as switch power supply, laser power supply, filter, and so on, which will carry static electricity when in using, the following points should be obeyed to reduce static electricity and failures caused by static electricity:

the customer service staff must check whether the power supply system of the customer meets the following requirements when install equipments at the customers5: 1) whether the voltage is 220V±10V. Ask the customer to install regulator if the voltage is not in the range or unstable. 2) Whether the socket of power supply is connected according to the standard of zero line on the left and live line on the right and modification must be demanded if not. 3) Whether the ground electrode is reliable. The equipment can be installed only until all the above requirements were met. Since the carrying capacity of the edge connectors the Company equipped is limited, other separate sockets are advised for the power supply of the high power air machine and water cooling machine.

The ground electrode should be always connected in good condition to assure the life safety of the operator and the smooth and normal running of the equipments. For trip occurred at the customer’s when grounded, the causes should be figured out. If it’s caused by a certain part of the equipment, then replace it; if it’s caused by static electricity, it should be checked first whether the live line and the zero line had been connected incorrectly. If it’s connected correctly and the problem remains, the customer should be advised to use protector with higher current leakage or breaker without leakage, or isolation transformer. (Note: the preconditions for all the above measure is that the equipment had been reliably grounded).
