Working principle oflaser marking machine
What is laser marking machine? Laser marking is to use laser beam to make permanent marking s on the surface of different materials. It forms when the substances on the surface evaporate and the deeper-seated substance comes out, or though the light energy’s function on substance surface, or when the light energy combust part substances to display images and letters.
At the present, there are two types recognized principles: by hot working and by cool working.
Hot working uses laser beam with higher energy density to irradiate on the materials, the materials become hotter by absorbing the laser energy and with phenomena of metamorphosis, melting, ablation and evaporation, etc.
Cool working uses high road energy ultraviolet photons to break materials (especially organic materials) or chemical bonds in the mediums around, to destroy materials in the non-hot process. Cool working processing has special significance for laser marking, because it does not work though hot working, and will not produce hot damage or break cold stripping of chemical bonds, therefore, no hot deformation or distortion will be caused on the surface of the materials. Fox example, excimer laser generator is used in electronic industry, to making narrow slotting on the semiconductor substrates.
